Kia Chalmers is a seasoned human resources leader with nearly two decades of experience building people strategies that drive business results. As Senior Human Resources Director at OVHcloud, a global hyper-scale cloud provider, Kia leads HR initiatives supporting the company’s US operations, bringing deep expertise in employee relations, policy development, manager coaching, and benefits administration.

Throughout her career, Kia has held senior HR leadership roles across a range of industries — from health-tech at hCentive to nonprofit human services at Shelter House, where she managed the full employee lifecycle for a 100+ person workforce. Her experience spans recruitment and onboarding, compliance and risk management, employee engagement, and training on topics including diversity and harassment prevention.

Kia holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from James Madison University. She also holds a certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace.
Known for her collaborative leadership style and commitment to operational excellence, Kia is passionate about helping organizations translate business goals into practical, people-first HR strategies. She is based in Reston, Virginia.
